On a personal note
My name is Ora Oziel (Ora Oz), painter. My works were presented in several art exhibitions in Israel and France.
My acquaintance with the world of painting goes back to my early childhood. I was born in France in 1960. These years still carried the memories of the war, but I grew up in a harmonious and art rich environment.
My parents’ house in France is a source of inspiration for my works. My father, Ronald Blum, was a painter and the president of the Jewish Painters Association of France. My mother was an optimistic woman, strong and full of life. My love for her is present in my works.
My art is influenced by my childhood and my lifestyle as a believing Jew and an independent woman. I came to live in Israel when I was 19 and married my husband, Reuven Oziel, who is my guide for finding light in my art and my life.
In 1990, I joined a painting course taught by my teacher since then, Francine Lasri from Ein Hod, with whom guidance I acquired a lot of knowledge in texture and colors.
In my work as a painter, I searched and studied a new approach to the painting process. A subject which took a lot of my attention was the place of harmony in painting and in life. In my courses and workshops, I teach the approach I developed for finding an inner comprehension through painting.
I invite you to join the painting course studies. They are intended for experienced painters and for non-painters who wish to learn how to express themselves through harmony and colors. During the course you will learn a unique approach to painting, opening a new door to perfection and beauty for us and for the world.
